Yes!!! Please do. We have a few drum kits and amplifiers, but anything you need to achieve ‘your sound’, you should bring. Please see the “Gear” page to see what we offer.
A “day” is a typically a 10-hour window in which your session will take place. This includes setup time and any time spent doing rough mixes or file transfers. Our engineers work best on a full stomach, so we try to allow for a dinner break at some point.
Setup times vary greatly depending on the size of the band and the engineer. The usual setup time for a typical 5-piece rock band with a staff engineer is 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours.
Yes!! Please do. It is best to bring a new, unopened drive…1 TB is usually plenty of space. We will format it and copy your files at the end of the session.
Yes!! Well-mannered dogs are welcome.
Yes. There are a few places to eat in town. Some of our regular spots include: The Golden Pear, Yo Yo’s, Dragon Palace, and Yamato’s. Catering is also an option for multi day sessions.
We usually require a 50% deposit to hold studio time. The remaining balance is due at the end of your session.
We can refer you to musicians available for hire, as no musicians are included in the rate. Expect to pay each musician $250-$750 per session, depending on the job.
